This is another experiment, and another hoping to turn the page, or change the reel, or whatever it takes to create some more links on this blog. I am certain that this is tantamount to the next best thing happening to "websites" especially "personal websites" on the internet. This is a rushed essay about Alfred Hitchcock, and the movie "The Birds" of which I have the French movie poster featured, from Mr. Bernard's photo images on webshots.
As of as far back

Here from the french, is "les Oiseaux"
by mssr.

Alfred Hitchcock

As of as far back
as I can remember, Hitch epitomized the ultimate director. The film
makiing process as craft and art become known to me simply by watching
the masterpieces of "suspense" by master of same. Like any
greate artist, Alfred Hitchcock, the director of Britain's first sound
film, imptoved, elaborated and elucidated his themes until they were
honed to a fine sheen. "Oiseaux" is a suburban horror story
set in colorful Eastwood country.

But something
is awry in paradise, and Hitch keeps the audience at least as much
on the edge of their seats at Spielberg fourteen years later.

Okay, here's another experiment, and I think I almost have enough posts and pics to "turn the page", and internet exclusive no one except me is watching here at ElectricMovies Central, with the latest breaking trends in filmed advertainment. Here is the insert. Now.

Well,
this is the test for Image insertion into the standard blog entry along
with text I write there. This would be the caption for the image, which
in this case is of

Robert Altman, possibly the greatest living American director. (Unless Gangs of New York rescues Scorsese.

These first tentative posts feature movie
posters copied from
a french website..

Jean Bernard

These are all
experiments, but of course I am in awe of the way the pictures display.
I am going to try to insert this as a <img src. Uh-oh, I'm beginning
to learn to talk in code.

I think I have to post five before I officially "turn the page". I'm up watching an old "Elvis" flick on the Tivo, "Girls, Girls, Girls". You know, we tend to think that Elvis was on his way "down" in the tragic sense, after he got back from the service and started to film the identical Elvis flicks. He was having fun, and it shows in the movie.

Untitled Document

This is our destiny.

The
movies play a very important part of my life, and I continually reference
my exposure to, and embrace of the medium, when I wish to make a point.
My experience comes second hand to my exposure to the original pop culture
format: the "flickers"

The text section will go here. These will
be the first stirrings of film literature a la Mike in the 21st century.
There are so many movies I can't name them. But they will be explicated
here, with brevity, and with wit, which is, after all, the soul of.
Or soul is the brevity of wit, or something like that.
